We’；d like to welcome back Lauraaccent pillow case baby boudoir， the interior designer and avid DIYer behind Pear Design Studio. Laura was contacted by two loving parents-to-be who were looking to give their future daughter the perfect nursery. After meeting with the parents， the goal was to create a soothing space with a vintage chic feel.？ Laura felt the best way to add a hint of pattern was to use a wall stencil.？ She browsed our online collection and fell in love with the Roses Allover Stencil， a romantic yet whimsical floral pattern.
Laura decided to paint an accent wall behind the crib.？ First she painted the back wall white， similar to Benjamin Moore’；s simply white OC-117. Then she used blue painters tape to adhere the stencil to the wall and painted the floral pattern using a color similar to Benjamin Moore’；s hint of pink.
She poured her paint into a paper plate and painted the pattern using a dense foam roller.？ After each section was painted， she would reposition the stencil to paint the next section. She did this until the entire accent wall was painted.
Once the stencil was complete， Laura decorated the nursery using items found on Pottery Barn Baby.？ She said， “；All of the walls？were painted in a very light？pink (almost white) with splashes of muted pink and mint to bring out the vintage feel.”； Ready to see how this vintage chic nursery turned out？
Here is a close-up of the Roses Allover Stencil pattern.
Laura had this to say about her stencil project， “；We stenciled this pattern with a very soft， light， neutral pink？paint？over white.？ We wanted this feature wall to be very subtle， ？And it truly completes this sweet nursery.”；
